I bought a Vitatronic804/S but the sensations are not really erotic or enjoyable. As a TENS unit isn't it really meant for pain suppression maybe because the waveform is not ideal for stimulating pleasure nerves? Is there a more suitable product?

We are surprised that you do not find the stimulation enjoyable from the Vitatronic 804/S as we play regularly with this and find it a great little unit.
It depends what accessories you are using with the Vitatronic 804/S, if you are using steel plugs etc with a large surface area, you may find the Vitatronic lacks the power needed to drive such accessories.
Many people get stimulation from the Pharmacy special units and the Vitatronic is a vast step up from those items.
Your experience makes it difficult to suggest a replacement, if you felt the sensations from the unit it is obviously not a power issue, so recommending a unit with more power would not solve this problem.
Our only suggestion would be to try a control box used and enjoyed by another person and see how you get on with that.
