Dittel Sound Set (Straight)
Sounds are smooth medical instruments designed to enlarge the urethra. In a non-medical setting they are used both for urethral stretching, and (more commonly) for highly pleasurable stimulation.
Dittel sounds have a flat end and a rounded end.
The urethra is a mucosa-lined tube leading from the bladder to the outside of the body. The urethra allows the discharge of urine, as well as semen in males. In females the urethra's orifice lies between the vaginal opening and clitoris. In males it passes through the prostate gland and penis, and opens at the tip of the gland's.
The urethra contains many nerves. Because of the sensitivity of the urethra, many males and females enjoy urethral stimulation via sounding.
Sounding is the act of inserting something, usually a sound, into the urethra. It is done for immediate stimulation, and also as a means of stretching the urethra. If done frequently, the urethra will, over time, stretch so that its natural size is quite large.
While sounding tends to be a male pursuit, many women also enjoy urethral stimulation, although shorter objects must be used as the female urethra is substantially shorter. Some women practice sounding prior to getting a Princess Albertina piercing to get the urethra used to stimulation.
Sounds need to be cleaned. They can pass disease from user to user if they are being shared. Even if they are not being shared, they can easily lead to bladder infections if not properly cleaned. Ideally, an autoclave should be used, but alternate cleaning includes 10% bleach solutions and pressure cookers.
As with all these types of products extreme caution and care needs to be taken when being used with the utmost attention to health and hygiene.
